Lagos Life Game Creator, Developer and Vatar

Sources checked · Browser service · Gameplay build not verified

Shalom Rayhamen is credited as Lagos Life’s creator in The African Engineer’s interview feature. Vatar, Nigeria is the operator named in the game’s current Terms and Disclaimer. Creator and service operator are different roles; use the current official documents when identifying who provides the game.

The creator credit

Kelvin Omereshone’s feature The Engineering Behind Lagos Life, dated 7 October 2026 in the supplied page cache, names Shalom Rayhamen and describes her account of building the game. Its public preview discusses an overnight build and subsequent infrastructure migrations. The rest of that feature requires paid access; it was not accessed here.

The interviewer’s public Reddit post, under u/DominusKelvin, also identifies Shalom as the creator and summarises her engineering account. Its stack and migration statements are attributed interview reporting, not this site’s inspection of the game’s private code. See the build-process explanation for those distinctions.

Vatar’s role

The current official Terms say Lagos Life is operated by Vatar, Nigeria. Vatar’s company page names Shalom Rayhamen as co-founder, CEO and CTO, alongside other co-founders with product and business-development roles. The Terms also identify Vatar as owner or authorised user of the game’s original protected content. These are the service’s own statements, not an independent company-registry search.

Use [email protected], as listed in the Terms, for official service inquiries. The independent guide is not the operator and cannot restore an account or deliver a purchase.

Names and older attributions

Some reporting calls Eliy a studio. Shalom’s first-person Zikoko account instead describes Eliy as an AI project. This does not establish that it is the game’s legal operator. The available original records also do not establish the relationship of every reported surname variant, including Shalom Mathew. An older attribution should not replace Vatar in a statement about the current Terms.

Keep each source’s role and date attached to its claim: an interview can credit the person describing the build, while the game’s current documents identify its operator. The available originals do not establish a complete legal relationship between every reported name. The business-model page describes what the service offers without inferring ownership from an advertising logo or revenue story.
